About the event
Socks 4 Seniors is our summer community initiative dedicated to bringing comfort, dignity, and warmth to seniors in our adopted nursing homes across Augusta and Macon. We are collecting donations from July 1 – July 20, 2026.
During this window, community members, partners, and volunteers can drop off new socks at our designated locations or host mini‑drives of their own. We are accepting new, unopened socks in the following categories:
Non‑slip socks
Cozy or plush socks
Diabetic‑friendly socks
Compression socks (optional)
